A former Assistant Public Defender, Joseph Whitener has handled thousands of criminal cases and tried more than two dozen cases to a jury. His trial record includes acquittals in cases involving murder, rape, assault, armed criminal action, robbery, and DWI, as well as a successful defense in a Sexually Violent Predator civil-commitment jury trial.
Joe represents clients in Missouri state and federal criminal matters, from pre-charge investigations and bond hearings through trial, appeal, and post-conviction matters.
